Identification

Valid original photo ID is required for every client, regardless of age. This is used to verify both age and identity before any piercing can take place.

Please check the Age Requirements page for the minimum age for your chosen piercing before booking.

If the required identification is not presented at your appointment, the piercing cannot go ahead.

Clients Aged 16 and Over

Clients aged 16 and over must bring their own valid original photo ID.

Clients Under 16

Clients under 16 must attend with a parent or legal guardian.

Both the client and the accompanying parent or legal guardian must bring valid original photo ID.

The parent or legal guardian must also provide the required consent before the piercing can take place.

Accepted forms of ID

The following forms of original photo ID are accepted:

  • Passport

  • UK photocard driving licence (full or provisional)

  • PASS-approved proof of age card (such as a CitizenCard or Post Office PASS Card)

  • National identity card (where applicable)

Photographs, photocopies, screenshots and digital copies of ID are not accepted. The original physical document must be presented at the appointment.
