These terms outline how Golden Era Piercing and Fine Jewellery provides services to clients and what you need to know before booking with us or purchasing jewellery from our online shop.
1. Booking Appointments
All services require an appointment, which you can book online. If you need assistance, please contact us by phone or email.
Your booking is confirmed once you have paid a booking-fee.
Please arrive on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate you, and your booking-fee will be forfeited.
You can cancel or reschedule appointments free of charge if you provide at least 48 hours' notice. Without 48 hours’ notice, we may retain part or all of your booking-fee.
We may need to cancel your appointment due to circumstances beyond our control. If this happens, we will refund your booking-fee in full.
2. Prices and Payments
Our prices are listed on our website and include VAT. Prices may change, but once you’ve booked, the price will remain as agreed.
Any remaining payment is due in full during your appointment. We prefer payments via cash or bank transfer.
3. Treatment Eligibility
Some piercings are anatomy-dependent and require a consultation to ensure suitability and safety.
Most piercings also have age restrictions. Anyone under the age of 16 will need parental consent, and a parent must be present during the appointment.
All clients must bring valid I.D. when having a piercing. Failure to present I.D. will result in the loss of your booking fee.
If you have a medical condition, piercings may not be suitable for you, or you may require a letter of consent from a medical practitioner.. Please inform us in advance to avoid cancellation fees.
It is not possible to have a piercing if you are pregnant.
4. Ordering Jewellery from Our Online Shop
By placing an order on our online shop, you agree to these terms.
Orders will only be processed once payment is received in full. We accept credit and debit card payments, as well as bank transfers.
Delivery times are estimated and may vary. We will inform you of any delays. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and will depend on the delivery location.
You are responsible for providing accurate shipping details. We cannot be held liable for any issues caused by incorrect or incomplete information.
5. Jewellery Returns and Exchanges
We hope you love your jewellery, but if you are not satisfied, you can return or exchange items within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be unused, in original condition, and in its original sterile packaging.
Custom or bespoke jewellery items are non-returnable unless faulty.

6. Clinic Rules
No smoking inside the clinic.
Please do not bring children under 16 if they are not having a piercing, as we are unable to supervise them.
Please ask for permission before using cameras or video equipment in the clinic.
7. Gift Vouchers
Our gift vouchers can be used for piercings or jewellery but cannot be exchanged for cash.
8. Liability
We are responsible for any foreseeable damage or loss caused by our services. We are not liable for business-related losses, such as lost profits.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms periodically. We will notify you if any changes affect your booking or purchase.
10. Data Protection
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.
11. Feedback and Complaints

12. Legal Stuff
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, but you are also protected by the laws of your country of residence.
Any disputes will be handled in the courts relevant to your place of residence.
